 On one hot day in the crazy city Iraq there was a group of 4 USA soldiers in the heart of the city. They were walking down the street securing everything and making sure everything was safe and OK. From be hing out of nowhere you hear gun shots and i bullet hit our solider in the back of the neck his name was Mark Martinez. The three solder's ran and hid while they see there fallen solider. They start to fire back but really don't know were this is coming from. One of the soldiers ran to get is fallen brother to move him away from the fire as soon as he laid an arm on him he was shot in the nose  killing Kyle Newman on the spot. This is very very scary for the other two soldiers. They were calling for back up but the back up was close to  40min away. So the two soldiers ran into a house to set up and prepare to fight back. They set up as one gun man and one sniper. The sniper found the guy on some bank camping out and had no idea that we had him in the scope. He had fired the gun and connected and killed him while the other guy fired and killed two more Iraq members.


     They had came out of the house and went to go get there two falling soldier's and pull them to cover. They have been fighting for about 30 min and it seems that the fire fight is over. Finally help have arrived and picked up the two fallen soldiers and took them back. The two alive soldiers meet up with other American soldiers about 5 miles away. The runinted with there brothers at camp. While they were at camp they got attacked or ambushed in another fire fight. Just the two solders 2nd one in a hour. A grenade was thrown and killed about 3 Americans. Including Josh Scott the one that was in the previous fire fight almost about a hour ago. John Barrel was they last one of the four and has seen too much and seen is brothers die. He had to wait two more day before coming home.


   His thoughts were he wasn't going to make it home the way its going right now. He wanted to just be home with his family and kids. Two days later when it was his day to meet up with the Sargent to go home. He was walking by and a car bomb went off and took off his leg and he had no idea what was going on. The helicopter came and got him and he's leg was gone and they gave him so much medicine. Once he go to the USA he was transported to the closes Texas hospital. While he was there he reunited with his family and he would get a fake leg and go through rehab for a year or two.

Football is my number 1 sport.
Im pretty good like kobe bryant on the court.
when i put on the helment and the pads and smell the fresh cut grass.
I forget about life and problems and live for the game.
I want to be the best and be in the NFL hall of fame.
My cuts on the field are so smooth and clean.
When im in the weight room im a beast and kind of mean.



Ive been ready for this game since i was born.
I got that next level talent.
I will push myself and wont settle for less.
Cause ill work hard and try and become the best.
Fooball is about brotherhood and love.
Its about hardwork and dedication.


Football is my first love.
when i look in the sky i see the one above.
I will rise above all the legends in the past.
Why does everybody think usain bolt is fast.
When i play football i expect to be first and not finish last.


I eat sleep and breath football.
My love will never change.
Just like having your first son.
You never know when its your last play.
In about a year ill graduate in may.

 Well I'm TJ STAVROS and I'm presenting my thought on having school uniforms? I disagree on having school uniforms we have worn school uniforms from 1st grade to 8th grade and wearing the same colors and the same cloths everyday. It gets very uncomfortable wearing the same stuff. Kids have bigger brothers and sisters and they look up to them and they see how they go out and have fun and do what they do. They want to be like them and when they grow up and everyday before school they see them wear whatever they want. Ive always wanted to be in high school and its finally here and its like a sleep wake up and my life has already began and its a scary thought.


   When i was young i was getting tired of wearing all the same cloths and going to school and seeing my brothers wear whatever. I know your guys concern on be professional and looking nice and perfect but look at our perspective we deserve to wear whatever we want unless people start to abuse the who dress thing. That's why you guys have a dress code on what to wear and what not to wear.  Girls should wear stuff to show off there body in a sexual way you should respect for yourself and for guys you shouldn't be all gangs related or just drugs or violence look good or as i say (FRESH) you got to dress to impress. Its so much comfortable and relaxing. Wearing the same cloths 24/7 bugs and how you got to have your shirt tucked and and your belt on

 
    My thought is use should wear uniform it gets you ready for the future and make you look forward to what your career is. You should wear it from 1st grade to 8th grade but once you hit the last 4 years you should Beale to wear whatever you want you deserve and worked hard for it to be like that instead of wearing the same stuff and same colors every single say. I also want to say that when you wear your own cloths and own stuff it brings out the person and who they really are it shows what type of person they are. Think about it you see the world and you see high school imagine if everybody dressed the same it would get boring and it wouldn't be the same, see how people dree way different like a skater to a jock, or a emo to a prep. It shows who People are and gives people a different aspect on life.

  I thought this story meant to lose yourself and who you really are.  In the story the guy like goes crazy on everyone and everything. If you lose viewing of who you really are then you aren’t yourself no more you are what your anger are sadness are emotions make you. You can never lose sight of whom you are and who you need to be to stay happy. I say life gets you down sometimes ya but you need to learn how to get back up and try again. People always say life’s what you let it be and you need to be the most you can be and nothing more are nothing less. In the story the guy started acting not himself and had anger he could not control so he needed to be by himself and not around anyone are anything till he got better. People are the same way and shouldn’t be all crazy and not be able to control it. No madder how hard life is and much of a pain in the ass as it is you should keep going because otherwise you won’t really be living. There are certain things that ya may take longer to recover from and they may change you for the better but if you change for the worse it not only hurts you but everyone and everything around you. When you lose all control of yourself and of everything around you it will be really hard to fin yourself again and if you let it get really bad you can lose everything. If you can’t control your emotions you should ask people for help and ask them for advice on how to make everything better. Once you lose everything and everyone you will start to realize that this is not the way to be are the way to be answering to your problems. If you got bigger problems then you seem to control tell someone so they can help you out with whatever you need are want help with.

    You need to learn how to control your problems and emotions. I know this from personal experience I can’t do that very well because I hold it all in and don’t ever let it out are ever let anyone in. when you hold it all in you will eventually just brake and it will all come out and that’s not healthy I know because I do it. If you can learn to let things out a lot easier then it will keep you from losing yourself like the guy in the story.  When you let people in and let them help it gives you different looks on things and makes you so much less worried. By letting people in and asking for help makes you stronger not weaker. By letting it all bottle up inside you it will get you nowhere and it will just hurt you more in the end. I learned that once you lose yourself and everything else in your life there is really no going back to it. So let out your emotions and be afraid to cry are to scream it really helps you in the end and it helps you learn who you really are, and also what you can really handle in life. If you learn to roll with the punches you will get way further so don’t let people are anything bother because it will lose sit of you and who you are.  Let it all out and don’t get so angry and mad over everything and keep your head up high and not really care what people say are do anymore.

                                                               

# 2 book report

  Standing tall? Is and inspirational story of a dramatic football hit that ended Micheal Everett football career. They were playing my favorite football team the Broncos in Buffalo. This was his 3rd season with the bills and it was his year to shine for them and hopefully have a good year. He had played  pop Warner football then high school then went to the University of Miami. It was his first game and a whole new year for him it was the opening kickoff and Everett and received the football it returned is to about the twenty yard line and had got hit hard. It was just like a usual return as everybody was clearing the field he remained face down on the field. Hes  thoughts were to get up and walk away from it he thought it was just a stinger but he could not move anything or talk or nothing. The doctors called 911 and he was taken to the hospital. They took him to do xrays and everything in the book they were pronouncing him paralysed. His mother and his fiance just kept praying and praying. One day his had started to move his fingers and his toes little by little. The doctors were saying this was going to be a miracle if he walks or does anything again. He had started making a remarkable comeback . 4 Months later he had started doing rehab and he Begin to walk and talk and move around again. It was hard for him but he be lived in The lord Jesus Christ and know to this day he is a very thankful and thanks god everyday for him to walk. He just wants  to get back to running and having fun with his kids. so this is a miracle story and for inspirational and makes you think about life and believe.

   BULLING is a real threat to people. I have never been apart of bulling or been a victim of it. I have been raised by my brothers from day to day to learn how to fight and don't take crap from nobody. When is come to bulling i cant stand watching that people take advantage of kids and that's why people bully people. I think bully's that picks on people are weak and cant stand up for themselves if it really comes down to it. They try to intimidated you so you will be scared of them and its not right. Most of this stuff happens cause people are gay. People that are gay are the people that they go after the most for some reason. The film that we had watch made me think and made me feel bad about the Gay guy being bullied dad to day and year to year. People pis ted on him spit on him and made him feel like shit and that's wrong to do to people. He don't deserve to be treated like that. He ran away all the time he would cry all the time and he's childhood was like shit it would really suck being like that. He was being touched in nasty ways and treated like nothing. What made me mad was the staff or principle did not do anything to help or stop it.

   People don't realize it but it effects them bad when you bully somebody or anyone. They really don't know what to do it suck for these people. When i see this happen usually i wont say nothing i really don't know why but i need to start saying something instead of being like everyone Else and scared to stand up. I am not that type of person to be bulling people i have to much of a heart and ill feel bad if i pick on someone that cant do nothing. I wouldn't want to be picked on so why would you do that to other people. People like to do these thing cause they think its cool and if they don't do that they wont be cool or there friends will not chill with them i thinks its pathetic in my mind. Just mind your own business and treat people how you want to be treated and don't hurt people to be cool. This is very serious because its causing people to run away hurt themselves and ma by even committing suicide, so don't be the bully try to stop this if you were to see it cause you can just might save someones life or anything Else.

   My self value???? I'm a very athletic, outgoing, fun to be around, and a big-heart person. I come for a very hard working and a supportive family. My parents are always on me to be going to college and to have a path set for my future and not to be a screw up. Ive been a responsible young man since i played football when i was 8 years old. I'm one of a kind i have alot going on in my life that is really good. I'm a man of GOD great family and everything Else. I believe in God and i also believe in reincarnation, and i believe there is a heaven and hell. One this that make me unique is my personality. I'm very different from everyone Else to my style to my color, and even my culture. I'm Greek and you hardly find Greek people well in New Mexico anyways. My last name is the only in the state so that what separates me from other people. I'm one person out of billions and my name is the only out of billions. I am who  i am and will be what I'm set out to be.

   If you really knew me? when people look at me i know what they see muscles a jock, and i just have everything made but i have alot of problems. When i was young my mom had got addicted to drugs and had almost died twice if it wasn't for me she would not be here right now. So i thanks God for letting her be with me. I been raised up in a hood were there is just gangs and violence and i saw everything already from people being shot to fights or stabbings. . That's the life that's blanks out of my mind i ain't that type of person and i will never become into that life. It leads to death or being locked up its a waste of life. I have to much values in my life and to much to lose if i get caught up in the dumb stuff.  I do have problems like everyone Else I'm not what people thing how i have a cherry life  stuff is different though in my perspective than in somebody Else. This is what makes me My self value.

I Dream A World

    I dream a world is from a world famous poet call Langston Hughes. What this poem means is that he dreams of the world becoming a whole better place like were evil wont surround anyone. He wants people to have no regrets and have everyone get along like black and whites and have no racism in our world or no greed. He wants this world to be loved and having everyone loving each other to make it a better place than it is now on our earth. He is a man that wants some serious change around here.


       My thougths on this poem are i think this is a great poem. Why does there have to be racism, people not loving each other or no peace at all . People really don't care about that stuff, there is so much fighting and so much hate  towards people and it sucks. It sucks to aways have people fighting and being mean towards people on the way they dress, they way the act, and the most important  judging by the color of there skin. Most people are grown up to not to like certain people and the color of peoples skin and its not right white, black , Spanish , Indian it doesn't matter deep inside you can find something new and ma by have a best friend. Also your friends that you hang out with that's a big influence on you to cause if there making fun of people your more likely to do it to. So just think on how you would wanted to be treated and just think what could happen if you talk to someone that's a  different race?..

Islamic church

    I am writing on the Islamic mosque that they want to build by ground zero in New York City. For those who don't know were that is its a block away right by where the world trade centers we crashed down. There has been a big thing about this. The Pasture at a church in Florida wanted to burn the bibles of the Islamic culture because he be lives that there the Devil. I would say that this is disrespect to the people that live there and also around the world, cause they were the ones that crashed the twin towers. He did not burn the Bibles on the day he said they were i think he wanted attention. I don't think its bad to build it there but i think its disrespect,it also doesn't mean that there the same way. The Islamic leader wanted to have peace with us at the other people of the USA. I woulden''t be so sure on having a whole different type of culture church or anything built by ground zero. I mean they flew us into the twin towers and they want to have a church built right next to. You never know what can just might happen something bad can maby happen again to someone or something else. It's like saying someone killed your son and your letting the person that killed your son live in your house. Its weird to think like that but they should keep that stuff to themselves that's my opinion.

The Hurricanes

     This is the first book I read from front to back. This book is about a football towns tragedy of the Hurricane Katrina. It wiped out the whole state and sent people to other states and moving away from the Hurricane. Some moved up state and some of the best players there had went to Texas cause they had been recruited to play, witch is illegal. The star player went to live with his grandma and was very uncomfortable and wanted to be back home. They had lost everything they owned so the coaches and family's over in Texas payed for an apartment and free everything. Two years after the thing they were rebuilding he had went back to his home town and his own school. They lost a few games in the season his Jr year and didn't make the playoffs it was rebuilding. His senior year he and a remarkable season and he was leading his team to the state playoffs. Soon as they knew it there were packing in the morning to head to the Super Dome. It had taken them around 6 or 7 hours to drive there. The day before the big game for the class 1A state championship they were there watching the 2a state game. Everybody was really scared and really nervous for the next day. The next day comes and the hop on the bus from the hotel and head to the game. Once the arrived they went to the locker rooms and got ready for the big one. Once they had got on the field some of the player threw up just from butterfly's.  

      There was 38,000 in attendance to watch these two teams play St. Plaque's were playing St. Johns for the class 1a state championship game. It was finally game time and it was ready to go St. plaque's received the ball and got about 30 yard return. On the first play of the game the start QB got sacked and lost the ball and St. Johns took it in for a TD. Next drive he had thrown a interception so St. Plaque's was down 14-0. The Hurricanes had Finlay got it together and started clicking. By halftime St. Plaque's was up 35-14 and it look liked St. Johns was beat out of the game. It was the 4th quarter and the score was 48to14 and there was so much peole celebrating and in joy and hope was coming back to New Orleans. So the St. Plaque's had won the state championship and brought hope back to the state. The final was 56-14 for the state championship.

        This game or book reminds me of my Superbowl game and shows never give up. The past two years we were in the Superbowl and lost twice and it was a heart breaker. This year we were playing the Manzano Monarchs they open up to and 18-0 lead on us in the first quarter. We didn't know what was going wrong we been here to many times. We connected to our best wide receiver twice before half time and made the score 18-16. Second half was different it was our game and only us can beat us. They got the ball to start the 4th quarter and they were on the 2yard line and had to go 98 yards to score. We had got a safety and tied it up. Once they got the ball back again the fumbled it and we picked it up and scored. We made it 24-18 and the clock was running out and we had beat the Monarchs 24-18

''Football''

Football is a game of passion, love, guts, trust and mostly ''BROTHERHOOD.'' You have to have a connection with your teammates and play together and have trust. If you’re playing football you got to eat sleep and breathe football it has to be in your heart. Football is man sport. It’s pure dedication and you just can't be a athlete. It all starts in the classroom. Football is America’s game people that play this game loves it. High school football is the best you’re a Jock of the school a lot of people will look up to you if you don't realize it. You’re the big man on campus that one goal for every team is to win a state championship. You got to work your ass off every practice and every play. Play a 100 percent because you never know when it will be your last play. Football is something else’s to an everyday life and will help you for the future. It will show you responsibility how to work with people and most of all become a ''MAN''. Footbll is a hard sport and needs dedication. Anybody can quit its the easyest thing to do or make excuses you cant in football or you should just not show up. Summer workouts are the hardest waking up every morning at the crack of dawn and especially two a days. High school football i think is the best level of football its so exciting and fun and more momentum.

The Best

    The Lakers have been my team since I came into the world on 9/30/93. My brother had me in Lakers cloths for my first outfit. I am going to be talking about how they have a pure dynasty and there rival the Boston Celtics. The Lakers and the Celtics combine for more than half of the NBA championships. These two teams are the most dominate teams in the league and have good players.

      The Lakers have had Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul Jabar, Jerry West, also with the Celtics Larry Bird, Bill Russell. The players now for both teams are all stars like the Lakers are the ‘’Black mamba’’ Kobe Bryant and the Celtics is the ‘’Best shooter’’ Ray Allen. These teams are the most liked teams and also the most hated teams. The one thing is about these two teams is that there in dept with money cause of the good players on there team.

        Kobe Bryant will go down in history as one of the best behind Michael Jordan. Jordan has 6 rings and Kobe has 5. If you look at tapes of the two playing they have the same moves shot and everything eles. Kobe has won back to back titles twice in his life and going for a 3 peat this year in 2010. Last year they defeated the Boston Celtics in a series on 7 and as a franchise the Lakers have 16 and the Celtics have 17. The year before we beat the Orlando magic in 5 game series. Kobe has been with the Lakers for 13 years and has another 5 with them. He has had some injures with his knee and his fingers but he is still good.
